this is anecdotal but based on my experience and the experience of brehs around my way at least with the feral razor back cacs you know where you stand. liberal "progressive" cacs talk a good game but at the end of the day are just as as they're right wing brethren, they just use coded language and academia to frame and hide things

you see just as much if not more anti Black male rhetoric(and cosigns) from white libs as you do from the other side

one side will fukk you over and sabotage you with a smile and paternalistic racism and the other will do it with a scowl and outright racism

Black men aren't going to win affiliating with either party. Republicans have overt racists while Liberals are filled with eugenicists and feminists who want to destroy the black family and reduce the black population. Establishing an economic base that is independent of any political affiliation is the key.

Black folks are more conservative overall than whites (most don't jump behind LGBTQ issues and opinions are mixed on abortion but lean against.)

Having conservative values in no way means being a capital-"C" Conservative is a sensible choice, though.

I'm a former conservative. I was part of an evangelical church that heavily influenced my political views for 11 years. As a result, I didn't vote for Obama either election.

Having separated from that church over their stance on police brutality (I'm from Ferguson), I go super hard against conservatives, in part because I know how absolutely toxic and harmful it can be.

There are posters here who say that liberals/Democrats are more harmful to the Black community than conservatives/Republicans.

American Conservatism will have you fooled thinking that the friends you have, the job you work at, the faith you hold, or the money you attain transcends the struggles of being Black in America.

However, when you expect your conservative friends or church members to come through in the clutch, they won't.

When Black men are dying in the streets, and you know for a fact that there's a police problem in the Black community, there'll only be derision and skepticism.
