Financial ruin / jail time

For whom? This appraiser?

Good!

Does this send a message to other appraisers? How do the appraisers force other buyers, most of whom happen to be white, to want to buy a home from a black family?

This is why I’ll never buy a serious property in California. This type of story is common.

There’s usually a purchase agreement in place by the time an appraiser gets involved. Meaning there’s a price agreed upon already. The appraiser is the way the buyer’s lender protects themselves by making sure the property is worth what the buyer is trying to pay for it. The sale will usually fall thru if the appraisal falls short since the lender doesn’t want to overpay. Of course this can be weaponized against people as well.

I dont make the laws I was being sarcastic with that copmala quote because amerikkka is racist...:comeon: do you not understand sarcasm???
More black families should out right sue these appraisers for their inherent bias.
But there should be state and federal laws targeting this bullshyt...:beli:

Yes. They should be sued. We have a clear case of racial bias.

My question, if not phrased properly is, if the appraiser lowers the value based on race, and the black family has to remove the black photos to get the home to be priced correctly, is the appraiser biased, or are the potential buyers in that price range white, and don’t want to buy from a black family?

The appraiser will be dealt with. But what is going to make the white buyers want to buy from a black family? What legislation will make that happen? If the buyers come in, see the black family photos, and still don’t want the house, how do you make them buy it?

A lot of homeowners are told to make the house look neutral and have no family photos. So this problem lies with the appraiser being racist for the low appraisal. After that, what laws will get the house sold?

Should be prime real estate for a racist since the black family is leaving. This is about a hating ass cac trying to keep black people from making money off their investment.

Happens a lot more often than you think but folks arent hip to the covert racism thats surrounding them so dont even know its happening to them. Theyve been conditioned by outside forces like BLM to think that racism is only getting shot and killed by vigilantes and cops. This is NOT what the agents want us to focus our energy towards because it goes back to the systemic and institutional racism that is still present in REAL ESTATE, FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS and anything that pertains to COLLECTIVE WEALTH.

Anybody that lives in these liberal areas or democrat areas should know this shyt already but you got folks scared to talk.

man what the fukk are you talking about......so what about conservative areas...any better....do you like talking in buzzwords:stopitslime:

If the house is under appraised that means even if they wanted to buy the house they can't , because the bank isn't going to approve 900k morgage loan for a house only appraised at 500K. you'd have to find somebody willing to pay in cash upfront which is impossible.
