I spent a couple summers (3) there with my cousins in Boston when i was going into junior high. It was an interesting experience. I would say the racism is pretty even across the board, it's just more overt over here than it is over there. The northeast type guys who i knew would hang out with blacks and then when they were gone take slick shots at them when i was around (i assume they think i had no issue with it). I overall prefer the overt stuff. It's a disconcerting feeling to get to know someone and find out that they secretly harbor intensely racist views.
Is the come on a yes or a no?
wow, three summers is a really longtime and Boston is notoriously racist...
So personally you didn't personally experience any racism directed at yourself? That must have been particularly disconcerting, taken your stance
I know the people who live in the south and midwest are fairly unintelligent but are they not capable of being covertly racist?
I prefer burning crosses and all that too but it doesn't happen here.
