Black Excellence Washington D.C vs Atlanta

ATL's COL is better, but I gotta go with DC for the fact that's there is less of the whole "black hollywood" superficial shyt than in ATL. I also like that there's still high levels of integration in DC (there is also more diversity) while also having black enclaves. In ATL, your world is either black or white, in DC you can hang at an upscale all black place on Thursday, then turn around an kick it in a mixed establishment with a crew of multiple nationalities/races on Friday.

nikka that's what I like most about Atlanta. Why the fukk would I willingly want to hang around cacs when I can be around my own people? I stay seeing nikkas pushing lambos, S550s, and bentleys out here. Tons of affluent black suburbs, and everywhere I go see black people with the look on their face.

Why would I give up that to mingle with a bunch of s?

I ain't even gonna lie, there's times I'm driving around, see a white person and I get upset like why won't all these fukkers leave the city man

I like both. DC is a bit more fast paced and their fashion is more up to date. Gogo is the shyt too. I love ATL though. Everyone is friendly and there is alot of history here. The weather is better down here too.

that's you. i grew up in the bay and quite enjoyed hangin with these wild ass vietnamese nikkas, and my filipino homies slangin fresh lumpia, i have white friends more down than a lot of black folks plus they have the clout to make shyt happen, i grew up with my dad's mexican/salvadoran kids who we consider each other cousins, and i won't even speak on all the wild combinations of mixed people/interracial dating - i like getting to know people from different backgrounds (class, race, ethnicity, country)....there is life outside of simply hanging with close minded black people whose ideas of balling consists of how many cars they have, and what labels are on their backs, and the size of the church they attend - that shyt is played.

edit: dc is also closer to more cities i'd want to kick it in

Obviously you don't know DC well.

While there are real ballers, there are so many broke and in debt stunners out here. The tricks and simps have mess the game up. Nothing worse than some simps with money. A lot of entitled fake boogie people up here. Straight Fake Black Hollywood.

that silly shyt is everywhere, but that's the culture of ATL, like it is in LA. DC has way more people who are making moves and not on that "i just bought a benz!" shyt. DC, people cared about clout, but I felt people were more about "where did you go to school, what do you do" versus ATL where it's "how much do you make, what car do you drive, what type of shoes are those"

ATL is cool, I have fun there every time and it's no doubt a good spot for black folk, but out of the two, I prefer DC, plus I like the seasons up there (just enough winter without being too much). If I were to move to the south, I might check Houston and Dallas before ATL at the moment
