and wasn't even doing anything big in college either. his whole career he's been a bystander. gj scoring 20ppg on the raptors and taking one of the east's many all-star leftover spots. he's a big name all-star just like devin harris but naw - i do like derozan as a player, just not in FIBA. what worked in the NBA doesn't work as well in FIBA and vice versa. he can't shoot, he's not a good enough ball handler, he isn't so great of a defender that he just has to be there, he's not versatile enough to allow him to be in the 4 spot... it is what it is

he can try again in two years or maybe coach k likes him in the all important 12th man spot. he's not getting burn on this 4 out 1 in team.
