i was watching this wiz khalifa video for 'we dem boyz,' and i could only go :wtf: at what the dudes were wearing. so, i continued watching the next few videos, and i really started feeling :snoop: about how terrible black fashion has become. nikkas are out here looking like straight clowns. there used to be class. even during the 90s, with the baggy jeans and timbs, there was still some kind of class there in the way we took shyt like timbs, polo, etc. and turned it into our own fashion style.

but now? you got dudes out here going EXTRA hard, trying to stunt on everyone, and they look like fukking court jesters.

this is what's hot in the streets of the west coast?? :lolbron:

and then people start asking themselves why i can't get a job. why can't people take me seriously? why are young black men looked at as a joke. well, one of the reasons is that you dress like a fukking joke! wearing fruity colored bullshyt, lame ass snapbacks. i swear, it's the clone wars in these streets. everyone looks like they just stepped out of the same fukking store. there is absolutely no originality.

i will say that, for dudes like me who dress in quality threads, i tend to stand out. nikkas and bytches look at guys like us and go :ohhh: :obama: while i'm looking at them and thinking

You sound just like a racist ass white person. Do u really think that black people are showing up at job interviews dressed like that?

If not showing up dressed like that, they are bringing that mindset to the employer interviewing them. So, yes, they essentially are arriving to the job dressed like that. And I take exception to this idea that I'm reflecting a white supremacist view of my brothers. I'm just being real. Black men think that they can be judged fairly while wearing their pants to their ass and dressing in clone attire.

Again, are black people showing up to job interviews like that?

I'm out the loop on the fashion scene but what do these lil nikkas wear now? Because unlike the past, I don't see these kids dressing like 2 chainz, ASAP Rocky, etc. I know in Chi these dirtballs rock trus and rockin robin jeans but we always late on fashion here? Whats the hottest wear nationwide?
True religion and rocking robin jeans are wack as fukk. And for people saying you don't see black youth dressing like these, give me a break. Yes, they fukking do. :childplease: most black youth are not dressing in clean fits that are free of labels and bright colors.

This is real talk. Black people used to know how to take something plain and make it hot. Goretex, etc. nowadays, like someone already mentioned, it's all about wack labels, fruity colors, and shyt that you couldn't even wear 3 months after it's released. It's as if black people need attention, and they don't realize they're getting the wrong kind. :snoop:

GORTEX!!!!

Haha ok.

I dont think that.. Your avg white person ain't got money like that to buy expensive clothing either. Reason why I just appreciate "high fashion" from afar

Try ebaying or searching "Raf Simons/Pete Saville hoodie"

The only two links I've seen is some Japanese site selling it for like 1300 and it on Ebay for 9k (which is obv a total rip off) and I have no idea if it's legit.. Not to mention if it'd fit or not
its really timing...i usually wait for a sale on shyt that had a srp of like 800 to get dropped to 350-400 or so...which still is some money to spend but if its something that will never get outdated...:manny:
