I've never met a black atheist chick in real life down here in the south except for my ex who was half black

I can't tell you HOW many times i've been hit with the "wait...so you don't believe even in Jesus?!"

its like they understand having problems with christianity or even the church, but "jesus" is like some incontrovertible fact to them. shyt is wild.

They'll straight be confused and have their entire existence questioned.

I'm probably the first black outright atheist they've ever met.

I used to lie about it, but I can't just keep avoiding it when they keep asking me to go to church with them and shyt.

I won't say a girl is "bad"...just flawed in her reasoning.

No. It's just that religion is a really touchy subject and important to people, eventually down the line, it would cause a rift (and pressure).
