you can believe that all of this exist strictly out of luck.
Its not out of luck. understanding chemistry and biochemistry explains all of this. its not that mysterious.
but the big bang could just be the recipe for creation to a higher deity.
and I COULD possible make rainbows come out of my ears. Doesn't mean its true. Speculating wildly doesn't support your claim
evolution and intelligent design can co-exist.
Nope. IG has nothing supporting it other than philosophical arguments devoid of any substantiation.

i just find it strange that ppl can be so certain that life, stars, galaxies, etc came to existence from absolutely nothing.
Are you aware of where the ideas come from, or do you think you just already understand what you're deriding as a concept?

its arrogant for us to assume we have it all figured out, we share like 96% of our dna with chimps. humans are not that thorough. either way, i refuse to completely denounce what i dont fully understand; and none of us truly understands why we came to be.

No one said we have all the answers, but you don't get to think you're being fair by introducing doubt into the margins of the unknown and equating that as evidence to the contrary.

nobody claimed 100% certainty that the big bang THEORY is fact.

You need to go back to high school and learn the difference between theory and law (in the context of science)

because I can, and I think your arguments for doing so are flawed.

But yet you use nothing but flawed arguments to support your weak points.

And then when you start losing, you just say that we hate gay people. :umad:

i think i'm being completely fair by saying i don't know either way, and it's unrealistic to expect us to know definitively.

and if it's not out of luck, explain the odds of stars banging together and created all the proper components for us to exist today. i mean, if we were just a little closer to the sun, we wouldn't exist. if we were further back, we wouldn't exist. we're also nicely shielded from asteroids, just seems like incredible luck to me. break it down for me and tell me the science behind it and why i'm a fool.

Thats fine, but don't assert your doubt as evidence to the contrary claim.

Its the god of the gaps argument. You can't just keep holding out hope for a god in the realm of things we don't know YET.

Actually, the earth rotates in a relatively "wide" zone and back and forth so theres some range there

Would you rather these conditions not exist? :usure: Cause thats what it sounds like.

Yes, Some conditions are favorable to carbon-based life...and?

we're also nicely shielded from asteroids, just seems like incredible luck to me. break it down for me and tell me the science behind it and why i'm a fool.
We're not THAT shielded from asteroids, since they get through ALL the time. Some big. Some small. Some that wipe out a lot and some that don't do anything.
