Yeah, a couple of other former black police sergeants have called her ass out
Among the few media outlets to address the role of Sgt. Adoni was the aptly named LA Progressive. Cheryl Dorsey, a black former LAPD sergeant, took Adoni to task. “I am appalled by the seeming lack of leadership displayed by the sergeant on the scene during the #ICantBreathe incident,” Dorsey wrote. Adoni, Dorsey explained, was expected to manage and control the subordinate officers under her command. “So then for a sergeant, and a black woman at that, to stand idly by and do nothing is egregious,” she concluded.
Apparently in return for immunity against prosecution, SGT Adoni testified at the grand jury, where she said she witness'd nothing untoward during the arrest of garner or about garners health during it. ... So she never heard 'I can't breathe', said numerous times in strangled tones then? Wouldn't it have been a good idea because she must have seen and heard that from her position ,as she was apparently the supervising sgt, to have stepped forward and at least checked garner was okay ?
She is either extremely bad at her job or something more sinister went down here, and already I hear voices suggesting because the supervising sgt was a black woman ,there was no civil rights violation. Perhaps Adoni has a problem with black men and doesn't really care if one ends up on a mortuary slab? ,. That is another explanation for her actions and I can't see why it makes a difference in concluding that Garner had his civil rights violated.
Anyhow ,the fact is,it shouldn't be needed to be investigated federally for civil rights violations , that video shows not only a killing but numerous crimes, like criminal negligence already,at least one person maybe a few more should be going to prison for this . What an embarrassment, that video has been shown all over the world.
