They certainly didn't write it but in true White fashion, they edited it in multiple commitees and then took over distribution so what you have in the present is the chopped and skrewed version.

It's a good thing the main tenet is faith because you're ultimately acting on your inner voice and just doing the best you can to live what you know to be right and in the end, that has to be enough.

Yeah, I think a lot of people are spiritual and would rather practice in private or learn on their own. You also have a lot of people that don't believe anything anymore. Megachurches are killing the neighborhood churches and that's the bigger issue these days.
