When he sees himself with a gun he sees himself as carrying on some civic duty because he sees himself as good. He sees himself as someone working for the betterment of his own society.
When he sees a black man, he sees someone as an agent for the opposite of all those things because in his mind, how can someone they hate and historically treated like complete trash want to work with them in harmony. They wouldn't do the same for you If the roles were reversed. They would be pretending so they could plot your downfall.

the black community has indeed been the primary target since they were brought here.
what i'm trying to say is that these tactics will be and are being used in various lesser degrees with the general public.
this is a practice that will continue to escalate with the oppression of the black community bearing the brunt of the abuse and paving the way for the erosion of rights for everyone.
