Sadly Jay Rock has become the weakest link in BH now, let's keep it real.

i think he's just forgotten. everyone's focused on schoolboy q and ab-soul because they put out the most recent material. and kendrick is always going to have that number one spot due to section.80. i haven't heard anything from jay rock since follow me home. he needs to put something out soon so people don't forget about him.

I give him credit for really putting BH on the map at first, but yeah, he needs to drop some shyt soon for real.

The Coli's 420th member
The fact they came up together gives them more chemistry music wise than it would Slaughterhouse. Their styles blend a lot better and the environment they rap about is similar.

While I think Black Hippy is the better group the aspect of Slaughterhouse I think is dope is they have 4 different styles from 4 different regions. They lack the cohesiveness but its still interesting IMO.

Its crazy heads is sleeping on Jay Rock. When in reality Jay Rock is the member that put them nikkas in the game. Ppl forgetting that song him and Wayne had 4 years ago.

The problem is times have changed. Nobody really trying to hear that gangsta rap shyt.

The only creative nikka in slaughterhouse is Budden.

Kedrick and Q>>>>slaughterhouse

You guys are really sleeping on Jay Rock. He's like a more lyrical Q or maybe Q is a less lyrical Rock.

If you look, the production for Black Hippy has really changed since Follow Me Home. I think the shift was first seen on Ab-Souls Longterm Mentality. After that you noticed a very different change in their music and lyricism in all 4 of them.

Jay Rock should be next in line to release but with Kendricks debut supposedly coming this year he might get lost in the shuffle which would suck.

I like all 8 dudes, don't know how anyone can say Royce isn't good
at writing albums when he has :
Death is certain
Rock city
Street Hop and
Success is Certain
Joey held it down with mood muzik
and Escape Route.
Joell has his mixtapes
Same goes for crooked I all nice.

Don't sleep on Jay rock either, he's nice as fvck listen to his
Verses on Ab-souls album or his black Hippy features

Lets be real, stylistically & originality wise...they are shytting on Slaughterhouse.

but lyrically, I dont think nobody fukking with the House. If TDE had two more lyricist like Kendrick & Ab then maybe but Schoolboy & Jay Rock not carrying their own weight.

:dwillhuh: what's original about black hippy?
Don't get me wrong schoolboy q is one my favorite spitters out now but i don't see what's original about them.
