The things that pissed me off about buying a house was that my fam wanted to drop some money to me to help out but I was warned straight up not to take the money.

That and the mountains of paperwork and proof of stable employment. I was sitting here telling this loan officer that I have a damn government job and been working there for damn near 10 years. How much more secure can you get?

At the end of the day I got my house here in DC but goddamn it was hell.
