and where in the heck did I say they wereOP not all black immigrants are the same... Jamaicans and other Carrib people are or were coming to America and Canada dirt poor for the most part, along with East Africans. As a Somali, I don't remember growing up with a sense of superiority over other black people. Like I've said before there are xenophobic remarks about the hair or appearance or what have you, but growing up in a largely black community with a sizeable Somali subsection, I remember our differences with other non EA groups were minor at the most. The main difference I remember growing up was we were Muslims and the rest were largely not, so that defined our relationship to an extent.

Your thread title said "Black Immigrants struggle" Not "Some Black Immigrants struggle" So you are generalizing breh.and where in the heck did I say they were
quick to get defensive instead of just acknowledging the issue. It may have not been your experience but there are enough blacks, both native and immigrants that can speak on this as fact.
.guess you didn't bother reading the post because I said many not all. And why would I say all when I'm a black immigrant myself and the complexities of our american society.Your thread title said "Black Immigrants struggle" Not "Some Black Immigrants struggle" So you are generalizing breh.

my parents used the word vagabond..I'm haitian and my folks lately haven't been saying anything like that. I usually throw in some comments and tell them how shyt is and they usually agree. I really don't here them saying things like "Vagabond" and shyt like I used to hear it back in the early 2000s and 90s. They usually sound shocked when they here about some of the latest events that unfolded. They pretty much believe anything I say.

The ones that come over and are poor or who come from the mud don't have those views imo. They know what its like to be at the bottom of society & oppressed so they will empathize with it more.
So you're just using your anecdotal experience to make up a spiel covering entire groups of people.
Ok. There's AAs born and raised that c00n the fukk up and "don't understand white supremacy". what difference does it make?
