How fluent are you in japanese?
Did you just go out there dolo or did you have friends already, know some of the language or something?Oh, I'm not military breh. I'm a civilian. I do YouTube and voice act for a living.
Here's the thing about people bro: nikkas with a bad experience tend to be the loudest.
Think about the last time you went to a McDonalds and they served you some bad/cold fries. That shyt stuck out, right?
But it also made you forget all the times those fries was bussin.
My point is that people who have a single bad experience, or even a few bad experiences tend to want to tell their stories to everyone else, and then that becomes the "truth". But people who are having a good time are too busy having a good time to talk about it.
Most people I have known that went to Japan had nothing but good things to say, and have been dying to go back. I am one of these people. The moment I got home was the moment I wanted to go back.
As for brehs who are doing something wrong, I can't speak to that. I don't know what their experience was like. I don't know their Japanese level (because that really matters). I don't know if they have friends, or even if they're thirsty nikkas that are overzealous in a country where everything is understated.
The only thing I can say is, is that I respected the culture and had some knowledge and experience before I went there, so I didn't experience culture shock. I was prepared and ready to accept things as they were, not as I wanted them to be. As Americans, we have a tendency to want to force our ways and beliefs on others, but in Asia... let me tell you breh, that shyt ain't gonna fly.
Some people cannot handle that.![]()
Good looks my guy@Balla
This is link to my thread
Men dgaf at least upfront cuz they too busy working themselves to death, trying to fukk a hostess instead or too introverted to even try
Of course gonna pushback somewhere that’s any race any place or any country that’s normal but how much to be frank rarely from what i experienced or seen or heard from female Japanese male and women I knew
I don’t have a race preference at all cuz I care bout how you treat me and how you are as a person but keeping it 100% Japanese was the one that i most success with and I don’t mean fukking or getting at or numbers
What I mean like someone said the openness they provide and understanding and less issues I ran into out of them all but you will still run into shyt with all races but I had the least with them is all I’m saying not gonna say they are the best or superior bullshyt cuz not true at all. All races have their strength and weakness and preferences you might prefer but I will never put down one over another cuz it’s crap
For what I all said I didn’t even up with a Japanese either lol
But also what I’m saying is this is homegrown experience also not the stateside cuz it’s different
Be same if you met let’s say a Italian here but u go to Italy and meet one there they usually for the most part act differently in the country they are staying at keep that in mind
Japan is goat experience and the women were great too me just don’t put all your eggs in a basket thinking it’s only race you go for tho
By the way Japan has a shyt load of Filipino women their and let me tell you from experience fiercely loyalty they can be sheesh
Did you just go out there dolo or did you have friends already, know some of the language or something?
Do you usually have to stay there a while to really enjoy everything?
I heard when you travel to some places it has to be for a little while to really get a good experience there with the culture, women, etc.
How much does age matter when going out there n shyt?
I lowkey feel like an old head now lmao, so idk how it would be over there in nightlife n shyt.
I’m probably in my head a lot, but wanted to ask.
I went mainly dolo.
I have Japanese friends, some of whom are currently living in Japan, but I met up with only three of them: one was the Blasian homie, who took me to Tokyo Disneyland with his girlfriend and her friend, one was a friend from college that invited me to hang with him, his wife and their daughters (children) at the Sanjamatsuri festival, and the other was some who took me around Akihabara.
Other than that, I was legitimately on my own. Sink or swim type shyt.
And yeah, definitely you want to be there for a couple weeks to get a real feel for the place. Some might say a couple months maybe to say you know the real Japan, but I cannot speak to this.
I'd say age plays a factor in how people perceive you. If you're a younger dude, the club scene will be fun. If you're a visibly older guy, I would think people would show you that respect older people get shown. The workers are already mad respectful anyway, so nothing to worry about.
I'm in my early mid-30s, but I guess I look like a younger dude. Here is me in Shinjuku:
I’m in my late twenties, might be early 30s when I go out there.
I’m just saying would I look weird being that old going to clubs n bars out there n shyt?
I might just do the online/app thing.

breh, you ain't gon eat anywhere in the world, especially a place in Asia, where they judge your looks heavily. I mean, you already stick out as a Black man, so that's just adding to it, because nearly everyone in Japan is slim or on the slimmer side.
Yeah I’m straight. I was just wondering if they ask n shyt.Alright, so I had a homie back in high school that, while everybody else looked like scrawny kids, looked like a GROWN ASS MAN. We were 15-16, and this nikka looked like he was 30. Full beard, swole, etc.
That was a good thing for him in high school, and he ate. bytches liked him, and nikkas respected him.
Today, he looks like an old ass man, washed up, frfr. Hairline is DUMMY back. Grey and all. But I am actually older than him by a few months.
So I said all that to say this: if you LOOK like an older breh, that's where you will fit in. Be honest with yourself-- are you in shape, do you take care of yourself? Are you already gray? What your hairline looking like?

Lastly, being in your 30s in Japan makes you a baby breh lol You're talking about a country where people live well into their 90s likes it's nothing.
Age is nothing but a number here... and in some cases, that's not a good thing if you catch my drift![]()

Yeah…chicks that frequent military bases, got military “homies”, or always in tourist spots are more than likely hoes…if you just trynna pipe then it shouldn’t matter.Never quite heard it put like that. All the cheating speaks for itself though.
