Lived in 4 different states, 7 different cities... I've been out the hood, including Cranberry, Whitehall, Brentwood, Baldwin, Washington County, Fayette County, Robinson, Moon, North Versailles, Erie County, West Mifflin...you're exaggerating like hell just to make a thread is all I'm saying. Ive lived places where it's majority white, and Pittsburgh really ain't one of those places
thats where it is most prevelant breh no way you didnt experience it there. ive lived in highland park my whole life and my neighborhood has been pretyt diverse for the most part. alot of middle class families from different backgrounds. When ive gone out to the bolded ive experienced things on many different occasionsdont get me wrong i used to HAAATE this place as i get older i have grown a love for it and its not a bad place to live by any means.
but being black here SUCKS. you have alot of ignorance here i mean tons all over the place also the job scene for young black professionals is almost non existent.
and being that i grew up in highland park and still live here. im starting to see ALOT of gentrification. i mean ive watched east liberty shadyside oakland bloomfield and lawrenceville. there is still tons of racism here. but the classicm is gonna smack alot of middle class people and below in the face as soon as it effects them.
maybe one of you can help me verbalize what im trying to say
i found someone who isnt blinded by their pgh love to see how it really is. trying to tell this to people who havent left the hills of western pa is the most frustrating thing

pretty early. Ive been tricked before though.
about it back then). There were even some incidents when black dudes from there were targeting black students at Pitt and were robbing/assaulting them.
In the Burgh chicks were so stuck up. I was striking out left n right.
I went to the CHI and then to DC and then to Florida.
