I feel like people who complain about Japan being really racist are White people who mainly come from White-majority countries. So when they go to a 1st world non-White Homogeneous country like Japan and are treated like a minority they freak out.

cacs are not the only race of people that hate us.

again, xenophobia. Youre thinking of things with your western mind, but its just not how it works here.

think of it as living on another planet (thats exactly how it feels), or think of aliens coming here to earth, your country, and living amongst you. Lets say youre on a bus and you see a grey alien, would you sit next to him? fukk NO. youd be scared. some people will be curious and open minded and talk to the grey alien, but a lot of people would be scared. Lets say you have club, would you let that grey alien in? probably not if youre afraid of grey aliens. Its just hard to explain, but its not overt racism as in hatred, its more fear of the unknown. Its like going to some alien world and being confused theyre all staring, freaking out or wont let you into a place. Youd understand then. its the same thing, we live in a multicultural society, but not everyone does. Seeing something for the first time can be a culture shock for some.

dont forget that cacs in general think anyone who doesnt worship them is racist.

I like learning languages and did a small Japanese course today and really liked it. I personally don't need japanese but since I plan on being out there at some point I might just run through the whole thing.

I use to be able to pick up convos somewhat and respond when I was there and kept it going while I was engaged when I came back to states but once me and oh girl broke up I dropped it pretty much
I can still pick up some when watching anime and stuff tho
Me knowing some sky rocketed my pulling game tho in japan shyt was insane

so its worth then. tbh I have no plans for Japan other than to visit. But practicing Japanese yestrerday had my brain feeling like I worked out a new muscle probably because its my first non romantic language. Thanks

I already have a passport and COE.
I spoke with my dad about this the other day. I've been seriously thinking of going back and I want my parents who are 70 and 67 to come stay with me.
Years ago when I was living there, it seemed silly. But now with the way America is headed, and some research connections I have there...it's starting to sound more and more attractive as an option.
