Unfortunately that isn't applicable for descendants of Africans in the US and Latin America who are living in majority white/indian/mestizo nations
Why is it not applicable? They can have their own communities and still trade and do business with foreign countries

I think a lot of coli brehs are confused about this. People seem to not know that Black primarily equals AA, meaning American slave descendant. It is our cultural/social identifier. A nationality placeholder so to speak

nikkas think all you have to do to be AA/black is simply be someone of African descent born In the USA.:mjlol:

Its an ethnicity like Jamaican, nigerian etc .We are the only major black group not tied to a nation/island outside of the united states

Because of perception. We know who you're talking about if you mention Nigeria, Ghana, Haiti, etc. Those are Black nations and so its easy to say "black is cool, but nationality is better". It's much more difficult if you reference a US, or an Ecuador, or even a Mexico, where the African descendants in those countries have not always been involved in the respective nation's national discourse, "nationality" in that sense doesn't have the same power.

Thank God I am not from the Islands.

Thank God I am not the child of Caribbean people who ran to White society.

:blessed:
when I was younger, I always wanted to be Jamaican or from other West Indian Islands because I thought they were cool. But then I grew wiser and conscious and realize they themselves don't even love being black.

Black Americans and Africans ftw :blessed:

maybe in a majority black country, but never claim your nationality first in a Western country.
I live in a western country, if you ask a black person what they are here they will say their nationality , , but also because they're immigrants. It's even defined that way when u fill out forms
