You’re missing the point and now you sound stupid respectfully. For all we know dude has a learning disability and 95% of the time criminal cases end in a plea deal so clients depend on their defense attorney to get them the best deal possible. The judge showed leniency by even bringing it up and then went the extra mile by pushing for it. Only way I’m giving him slack is if he has a disability which he might. His lawyer making that comment about his job & he ain’t catch on is wild. It’s like athletes getting robbed by financial advisors, I don’t expect them to know all the ins & outs. If you see large transactions at car dealerships & you have only 1 vehicle, red flags & common sense gotta kick in.

I hear you. At some point you've got to be accountable. To me it’s just like any other profession. You have people that are really about what they do and others that are just there to get paid. But defense attorneys like doctors have power over peoples lives so I hate when I see they’re not doing their job as well as they should. Luckily for him the judge was there to advocate for him.

I give the attorney credit for getting the adjudication put on the table in the first place. Still, he almost got homie hemmed the fúck up by insinuating that probation was a guarantee, THEN it seems like he didn't explain to him that probation for a felony still means that the felony will be on your record.

At the same time, buddy is 31 and has the mental capacity to drive a truck, so him being able to understand basic ass sentences should come easy.
