For a lawsuit, what's the legality of that recording?
I don’t think it matters in a civil suit. For a lawsuit, what's the legality of that recording?

gif got me dyin'I sued my job successfully before. It’s a thread on here documenting it. They came to mediation and settled. That was the last time I would ever be in corporate or work for anyone. But anyway, you actually do have to go to HR to beat these folks.
I initially called a lawyer to see if I had a case and they didn’t even take my case. But they told me the steps. They told me I had to go to HR first. Cause how you get these folks is you have to bring whatever issue it is to HR attention and give them a chance to fix it. Once they blow you off or don’t take the steps to fix the situation, then you got em. But you can’t use the strategy of surprising these folks or saying you was too scared to go to HR. Don’t work like that.
In my situation, by the time I went to HR, I had already researched employment law and knew I had to document all my shyt and had my strategy ready. I was playing 3D chess on them hoes sending emails asking certain questions just to catch they ass in flat out lies and have my documentation. Cant sue your job if eeoc don’t take the case and give you the ok, and I had all my shyt in order and even then they had some reservations, but they gave me the approval.
My job chose mediation right away cause I had all documentation and shyt and my accounts of everything and they had nothing.
It definitely is not easy to sue your job as everything set up in they favor. But I was able to do it, and by myself without a lawyer cause I’m smarter than these crackers

It doesn't matter what anyone of us here could handle. What matters is recognising the type of hostile environment needed for that behaviour to exist and empathising with how stressful it would be going into that environment day after day.
Anyone who is black will not have a hard time understanding why another black person would look at the environment and walk away.
Same logic was used against giving us "****** monkeys" rights in the past
Yeah I used ****** to emphasize my point.
