Im a woman and I attended college in a coed dorm. We never had any problems in our dorm or bathrooms. I guess I don’t get it. I feel like women are statistically more at risk around men they know than people using a bathroom. At least that’s what I’ve noticed in the shelters I’ve counseled in

That is because statistically the people they know are in close proximity. The keyword is proximity.
