The issue is actually pretty much overblown and a smear used against blacks.. not saying its not an issue but when u look a raw data you will start to scratch your head. If your not a drug users or gay then its pretty much a non issue statistically. And for the myth of downlow brothers spreading it to black women the numbers simply dont back it up. according to the cdc the hiv transmission rate for unprotected heterosexual sex is under a half of one percent. Just think about how low that really is..
Truth is a lot of people and organizations are making a ton money from spreading fear about hiv. Thats why it gets pushed so much.
