Male privilege exists because patriarchy exists. There is no specifically "Black male privilege" though. As a distinct group, Black men to not receive specific benefits as a result of a system. As men we are in a privileged position due to patriarchy. Nonetheless, patriarchy interacts with racism to produce some interesting and troubling phenomena for Black men, such as stereotypes surrounding aggression, etc.

There is no black male privilege. The black community is essentially a matriarchy, which is essentially what feminists want. Black women have more education and better jobs on average compared to black men. They also get hired a lot quicker because they are 'less threatening' and a 'double minority.' Look at the rates of violence when it comes to black males and the incarceration rate. Women get significantly less time for the same crimes.

At the end of the day, if equality is the goal, any privilege of any group is gonna be problematic.

Instead of arguing and fighting over who has it worse, why dont people work together to fix ALL the wrongs. It's not either or. We can focus on tackling both racism and sexism.
