Contraception on both ends can fail.
Married couples, bf/gf, long term sex partners who don't want kids or any ADDITIONAL kids because of a myriad of things.
Victims of sexual violence.
Women carrying fetuses with potential deformities, illnesses or short life span etc...
Even if these issues account for only 30% of abortions, WHY should we take away that option for them to have?
That's a decision for the parents to make not us.
I was on the fence with this issue when I voted but more people were vocal about the marijuana issue, I figured both would easily pass. They always have Planned Parenthood billboards in predominantly black neighborhoods ESPECIALLY around housing projects, like back to back billboards, so the issue is more so targeted advertising than any type of infant mortality.
