A trust allows anonymity
No, only six states allow anonymity

states such as NY, NJ & FL still identify the actual ticket buyers even if you claim in a TRUST

However, jackpot winners are required to identify themselves to the lottery and, in turn, state law requires the Lottery to make the winner's name available for anyone who asks for it. That makes their identity public.

The lottery website asks and answers the question point blank: Can Lottery winners remain anonymous? No.

You also pay higher taxes for trusts

A blind trust is a type of irrevocable living trust in which the trustee has full authority to invest trust assets, and the trust beneficiary has no right to know what property is owned by the trust. Lottery winners sometimes use them because they help avoid many of the problems that come with winning a large lottery prize.
Be aware, however, that by setting up an irrevocable trust, you may permanently lose control over its assets in favor of the trustee

If you're of sound mind, why would you give up control of the money? just so your name doesnt show? you do know you can change your name right?

The drawing for the $298.3 million jackpot and has already quit his job to start enjoying an early retirement.

He opted to take a single lump sum payment of $180,227,550 which equals $114,091,248 after taxes.

298.3 - 114.09 = 184.21.

Definitely can't stay where you're at. When you get that type of money just get out of the country for a few months. Put some money overseas too. Carribean, Sweden, Asia, wherever.

Dude said he’s buying a house in Brooklyn. with all the jealous people around Brooklyn would be The last place I’d buy a home. If he loves his home he could easily buy a house in Long Island, Connecticut, PA or Jersey.
Theres plenty of places in brooklyn to be rich and safe
