The Bible breaks down our version of slavery pretty well though.

Deuteronomy 28:48 AMP

you will therefore serve your enemies whom the LORD sends against you, in hunger and in thirst, in nakedness and in lack of all things; and He will put an iron yoke [of slavery] on your neck until He has destroyed you.

This is literally the verse that made me repent years ago.
You said you were atheist 3 post up. Wake up and stop playing around.

I am. But before I completely came to the conclusion I’m at now I was a hardcore believer. Followed as many laws as I could too.
And what would make you go Atheist (made up by Darwin at that) at the Last minute? When ppl have to decide whether to buy food or pay the rent, will they evolve to have water humps on their backs like camels and a need to only eat twice a year?

Those laws weren’t for you, which means your understandIng of your religion wasn’t all the way there.
The Bible is a set of laws for god chosen people. Nothing to do with religion. Literally to get to heaven you’d just have to follow the laws.

It’s easier.

:snoop: embarrassing

No. Nothing embarrassing about it. Slavery is an age old human institution. In fact black people enslaved more white folks and for a longer period of time than white people enslaved us.

Check out this thread I made a few years ago on the topic: WHITE Slaves and BLACK Masters....the untold history of North Africa

As a crakkka you prolly think all we ever been were slaves. But we were the masters for far longer. So why would we demonize an institution we created?

There's all kinds of weird shyt in the Bible.

I have taken a college course on old and new testaments in which we simply went through the whole book page by page.

The professor was a white pastor, but he was surprisingly scientific minded. This is where I learned about there being no historical primary sources for Jesus. All the writing about him - even the Biblical - are dated to decades after he supposedly died.

Really studying it is what made me realize that alot of it is fantasy

In no way shape or form do i justify slavery.

But the black man originally put ourselves in slavery due to demonic thinking and worship of European trappings. At a higher level of conscience slavery could never have happened. You can see the same thing playing out today. Although back then slavery WAS NOT a choice like it is today.

Not sure how you can bash Christianity, when many of you on here say this is all a simulation. If tou believe its all a simulation then you are saying slavery didnt even happen. Certainly cant say it for certain. That doesnt seem better

False. The historical primary source for Jesus is the book of Galatians which was written by the Apostle Paul less than 15 years after he died with attestations from Jesus' own brother, James, and other Apostles contemporary with Jesus.

The COPIES of the letter are decades older.

The United States' Constitution legalizes slavery.
