I usually let them try to get their money back after I win a big pot. I’ll say I’ll stay one more round of the table and usually just limp in unless the hand is real nice.

Keep in mind that even if he WAS obligated to play 100 rounds, after he won the 18k he probably would play conservatively the rest of the way. That would’ve made folks even more angry because he’d basically be sitting on his winnings.

Typically they prefer you leave so someone else who’s more willing and eager can take your place. That works out better for everyone because the folks who lost money have a better chance to win some back than if one person at the table wasn’t actively wagering much

Not that any of that matters from the video because he wasn’t obligated to stay for any length of time. That’s on them for not making it obligatory and also for not having replacements
