Just saw the video on national news right now. The video does NOT match the officer claims. They said their lives were in danger but they clearly are continuing to shoot from behind when he was far past them.
That being said, the best we're gonna get out of this is a change in policy. They're never going to convict a cop who fired at someone who drove towards officers even if they fired when he wasn't driving towards officers anymore. We have to fight to make it explicitly illegal to fire into a car driving away.
