honest question though becuase this is something that i been thinking about for a whille.

ive traveled all over teh world. but for some reason no matter where you go as a Black American you kind of have a target on your back. my moms family live in ethiopia and evne when im there i stick out like a sore thumb and when im out mf always sniffin around. so it kind of feels like we are stuck but i agree with @KingJay i feel like i have a duty for my dads side of the family who have sacrificed so much. great grandparents who have been raped and killed by the klan, constantly harassed, property burned down just for existing and making the most of their situation.

but where would you go?

That’s my hometown, born and raised. No longer living there, but make my visits cause I got a lot of fam still there and in neighboring Perquimans County (Hertford). I’m speechless but can’t say that I’m not surprised by the incompetence and how this situation is being handled. Pretty much his fam only witness on 20 secs of that video and needless to say, folk want answers and tired of the foot dragging. NC in certain spots has not progressed in certain aspects and still ass backwards. Those who live further north in the VA 7-cities (shout out to the Buddha Brothers, R.I.P. DJ Law and Mic Lord) areas VA Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Hampton, Bad Newz, Portsmouth can sure attest to that.

This is always a tough question. I’m not leavin, but for my momma we’re not British but she loves it over there and she fits in there well for some reason so I’d move her there if I could

It’s not perfect over there, but I think it’s better than here in terms of just staying alive. Lack of a language barrier is huge, and lifestyles aren’t too drastic of a switchup imo

Thing I don't get is the rich stand to lose out more than anything in this scenario so they should be the ones pushing to get shyt where it needs to be because they by far will be the biggest losers when the reset happens.
