SMF and LAX to VA and NC
Speaks for itself, I'll go first:

New York
Washington-Baltimore (DMV)
Atlanta
South Florida
Houston
Los Angeles

Would be my Top 6, based on overwhelming cultural legacies and contributions to America at large, based on black cultural output, based on the strength of black community in these places; blackness is these six are international both demographically and internationally renowned....

I do think there is a "next" tier of complementary black areas that are either burgeoning, or are significant regional cultivators of blackness:

Philadelphia
Charlotte
Orlando
New Orleans
Detroit
Chicago
Dallas

Then I think there's a third tier that is also regionally potent, just less so:

Boston
Raleigh-Durham
Nashville
Indianapolis
Minneapolis-St Paul (Twin Cities)
Las Vegas
San Francisco-Oakland (Bay Area)
Seattle

There are no black mecca's... We don't run one city in this country from top to bottom and that's something we just have to be honest about. I'm from Atlanta and I never seen this city as a black mecca. We have black people that do well for themselves, beautiful black women, and we know how to have a good time but once you start getting around that West Paces crowd, you find out who really runs sh1t.

There are little to no "real" black meccas in this country:yeshrug:. Meaning black people own 80+% of the businesses in the city, control the economy, control the education, control the healthcare, control the crime, have high positions throughout the government, etc.nikkas hand out that title and "black excellence" way too easily.
