part of the problem is that too many women give so much Credence to what rappers and ball players do. Look at your average rapper and even some of your modern basketball players do they look like they're going when any intellectual free Falls? Do they even look like if ever given thought what it means to be black in this world? You talkin about the least common denominator here. That's the reason why they promoted so heavily in the media. I agree. Personally, I think white media goes out of its way to find blks willing to say these types of dumb things about their own race b/c they desperately need validation and as a tool. The table of White supremacy has many legs, and media control and social conditioning is just one of them.
But it’s hard to ignore b/c it’s not just the celebrities. It’s dudes on social media. Since like the early 2000s it was open season on blk women. I call it the Willie Sargent Pete era. We in the cancel culture era now, but it was nothing to hear blk dudes talking all kinds of shyt tearing down blk women online.
So unless you are completely unplugged it’s fairly easy to run into. A couple of years ago, I used to joke about everyday a random dude popping up on my TL telling somebody about his “PREFERENCE!” for anything but a blk woman.
For better or worse, the media has always lent a false sense of authority to individuals. To be honest I don’t believe these are the sentiments of most blk men, much like the whole bedwench/anti-blk man shyt is a minority of blk women.
But, when u are online a small amount of people can present the illusion of ubiquity by flooding the net with bullshyt until it seems like “everybody is doing it”. That’s what’s happened to blk male images when it comes to the myth that they chase non-blk women. But that’s not blk women’s fault.

A few things here:
A lot of the males you see talkin down on black women are still boys or either barely out of Boyhood. Their mind is filled with much of the foolishness you see on the media. Rappers videos full of mixed race or Hispanic women dreams of becoming a pro athlete Etc.
There's not a lot of empathy going around either way. I remember that Sergeant Willie Pete guy. Ask make a lot of black people both male and female don't understand what poverty and racism I've done to the black psyche. So maybe for the some for black people who ars able to scrounge up something that resembles a middle-class wife and they look around and don't see many people they will want to be hitched up with they become very frustrated.
They might see the disenfranchisement of black men start to blame those black men for this situation or they might see the Obesity of some black women start to blame black women for that situation when it's a system at Play that makes it easy for both of these problems to exist. Not everybody is strong enough to play pass the problems.

Yeah I think a lot of people using social media are the younger crowd. Majority of blk men and women I know over 30 just ain’t on this wave.
