ThisI realized awhile ago that many black men have a “too cool for school” mentality, which leads to the types of replies you’re getting in the thread.
It’s very clear what you’re saying and it makes sense as to why this type of thing (in theory) would be beneficial to black men as a whole.
We have been dehumanized for centuries and said dehumanization (they’re violent, they’re deadbeats, they’re lazy, etc.) has been used to justify harming us (police brutality, denial of opportunity).
You have “sistas” advocating for the disenfranchisement or outright abortion of black boys based on said dehumanization.
But, you will be told because nobody says it in person (why the fukk would they) that it’s not something alarming… until it is.
The only reason is disagree with your thread premise is because I realize they know better, they just don’t care. This goes for both genders.
You’d be wasting your time, you’re better off just building with like minded black men and looking out for your own. Threads like this show you why.
