In this thread I was saying people need to make better decisions in a mate and not have children until they have the proper resources. In response I'm getting a slew of ad hominem attacks. Generally the government may offer programs and incentives that assist immigrants, but how do you know that that "Nigerian's" family took advantage of those benefits? or were even aware of them? This is not even accounting for the kinds of resistance immigrants can face in North America (social etc...)

If they bought a house, opened a business, or sent their kid to school, then they used the assistance. There is no way around it. You think they gave uncle Sam his tax breaks back like " naw we dont need that we're independant immigrants. And the fact that he has probably been discriminated against do to his immigrant status, should only reinforce his bond with his people, and make him want to help out even more.
