This whole thing sounds like the pre game to making the black man the scapegoat and fallguy(s) if she loses. The thing is, this article and argument reads as if LA has an Atlanta type demographic where the city is 50% black, 40% white, 4% Asian, and so forth. LA is like a 40% white, 40%, Latino, 9% black, 11% Asian type makeup.
The black male vote in LA is key but far from being the main factor in her getting elected mayor. Like I said in a previous post, she's got to get in good with the Whites, Mexicans, Jews, Koreans, etc. right along with securing the black vote. She's in a melting pot city not an old school city with only 2-3 main racial groups to garner support and votes from. And what about the black females in LA? Are they on board with Bass or are we looking at another Hillary Clinton situation where white women said they had her back but all ended up voting for Trump once the lights came on
