I wasn't talking to bomb on dude. Just the truth. It's certainly things that people post that explain why they struggling mentally.Got damn![]()
She told him what she was supposed to. Dude was weakWhen it comes to mental health, we’re the ones told to “man up” and “snap out of it”. “Life is tough, get over it”.
I knew a cat who had a breakdown and his wife straight up told him that she couldn’t help him cause she had never seen a man go through something like that, like it was his fault. I think we’ve move out of the “just pray about it baby” phase as a people, but as men there’s no support.
This^^^It's kinda hard to not feel like the whole world is against us. But I can't take that suicide route.
I've only read about 10 pages of this thread, but one factor that hasn't been mentioned is verbal abuse of children. Kids who are constantly being berated by their parents and other authority figures in the household while growing up.Number one cause is depression. Second is mental illness. Which both can really be mental illness.
People don’t really kill themselves over money and or women or shyt like that. They usually have things going on mentally that never get helped and they say fukk it. You can’t escape your own mind. And nobody helping you sort it out. Plus your mind isn’t even healthy….
Cause if it was just about hardships, there would have been mass suicide at all points from slavery to 1964
So what's your answer for someone struggling with mental health? She told him what she was supposed to. Dude was weak
So what's your answer for someone struggling with mental health?
Being a Black man especially in America can feel like an extremely lonely existence.
Yup in the grand scheme of things you have to give the average man hope, and this is coming from someone who considers himself agnostic.I'm no Christian but when there was a church life in the community, suicide rates were lower in much worse economic and political times.
Simple deduction here says abandoning God isn't good for the mind
You weren't meant to live like a European heathen and it's clearly effecting brothers in ways it never has before![]()
