Most of us aren't involved in gang and drug activity, so it's not a "black men" problem as much as an environment problem. And is hood life even being promoted like that anymore? Even hip hop isn't violent like it used to be. I'm seeing more and more black male mentorship programs popping up, and more of us becoming entreprenuers, and putting positive images of ourselves out there.

Rural whites do not live close to each other. It's harder to get into conflicts when you have to drive to your neighbor's house, and most of them are high on meth and heroin all day, about to pass out at any moment. They do have a lot of robberies, because they don't have jobs, and the ones who could work, can't pass drug tests. They have to steal stuff to sell.
And white men are the ones going on shooting rampages killing random people, most of whom are white. They also have domestic violence killings.
I hate when folks act like the average black man wakes up, and thinks, "I want to kill another black man today." Even poor black people aren't doing those things unless it's drug or gang related.
