This system is a crony-capitalism system. What we African-Americans need to learn is how to turn a hustle into a legit business and use it as a tax write off. Also, we need more programs/lobbying groups like a Black version of AIPAC for our political needs. Do we live in a rigged system? Yes. However, there's ways to win in a rigged system if you know how to play the game.

Street life isn't cool, but I understand that they may be the last resort for people in the hood. Suburban Blacks and Working class Blacks need to team up.

Also, we need to teach our AA women that their booty isn't their only asset (Black women in hood). Black women are the SMARTEST women out there. They have saved our planet since they first arrived. That's why she's a queen.

In a rigged system they want you to lose TRUST ME. We have to prove to ourselves first and foremost/to them that we can win. Because once you get locked up you become their bytch and have a record. Then, you come out of the pen it'll be extremely hard to find work.

Like I said, real G's move in silence :jawalrus:

Also, look at those Cubans. They employ and are politically involved. Yes, the Cubans lobby in political matters and even have their own AIPAC type group not as strong as the Jewish one. Still, I'm reading a book on Cuban-American politics.

It's too late for you. You're in your 20's, jobless, and confused. You're exactly where the system wants you to be.
Breh, I'm plotting and going back to school next year. My college called yesterday and asked if I wanted to update my classes. I'm not an idiot breh.

How many credits do you have? What will be your classification? Do you still have prerequisites you need to finish? How are you going to pay for school? The problems that occurred that you allowed to derail you and not finish the first time, are they resolved? I've been here since 2015 and you've been mentioning "next year" since then.

I've been mentioning that for 6 months that June is my goal date. Also, I have 55 credits to go because I already finished 10 of them. Only thing I have to buckle down on is that one math class.

Another problem with our culture is that there are too many chefs in the kitchen.

You bring up some valid points but honestly (and not rudely though it is going to come off that way :whoa: :yeshrug:)

what makes you an authority on what we need to do, especially since you aren't doing it?

You talk about "starting businesses" but you spend an ungodly amount of time complaining about temp jobs, complaining about being an outcast, and posting here (like the rest of us).

Often times it's people like you who feel that they SHOULD step on the soap box and tell people how to win. SHOW us how to win.

It's insane the amount of "dap fishing" people do. It's honestly quite bizarre.

You are a black man still working your way through life. Which is fine. You often times post about whether to get a trade, go to college, start a business, etc. Yet here you are talking about what the African American populace as a whole should do in order to be successful, when you have self-identified as not (yet) successful.

People have weird delusions about life. Build yourself up, start a business, donate your money to Black PACs and then tell us about it. You want to have "leader rhetoric" then try being a leader in your real life.

I TRULY think that if your heart is in the right place, you can do great things. But instead of leading from the middle, get in front. It takes more than some words. It takes more than discussion. It takes focus, discipline, a plan, ACTION, failure and follow through, etc. in order to create change.

If black people aren't collectively talking about a economic plan, we're wasting our time.

The political structure alone will not help black people. Politics is probably 3rd on the list of importance when it comes to helping resolve black issues.
