I listened to Popular Demand a couple months back maybe because of the anniversary of the release, and it is far from his best. Faaaaar.

I like it for the nostalgia of that time, but he's got like 5 or 6 albums better than that.

Oh I will trust me

Nostalgia is one part but to put it simply, It has the most memorable beats by far, I recognize he advanced "technically", incorporated live instruments/synths etc. etc. but that doesn't mean much to me.

It's forever Tronic for me. None of his albums are trash but they've all been a little disappointing to me because he hasn't reached the heights of Tronic again. He's clearly moved on from that sound and energy but I still hold out hope we get a Tronic 2 one day.
