Black Milk is one of the only rappers/producers that experimented and even lived their song without ended up corny and way left-field. Usually when people say stuff like “I like it cause it’s different”, it’s utter trash, but it’s the opposite every time Black Milk drops. Sound of The City will probably always be my favorite album from him cause that was the first complete release I heard from him, and it resonates with me a lot, putting me right back in 2007 with some good times. But this album is another good Black Milk. Never been disappointed by him, even though I didn’t listen to If There’s a Hell Below much, and never heard No Pressure No Paradise.

I've had this album in heavy rotation since it dropped. I think it's near the top when talking bout his discography....maybe top 3. Amazing production all around.

Black is spitting on this too. It's incredible how he's improved his rapping on each and every release. On his early albums, I felt he got by because of his flow and presence.

Now he actually has content in his lyrics. Exceptional piece of work.
