This is an extremely long winded way of saying no DLC before the next game.

I think this is a a terrible idea. The next game is probably a few years away, there's no reason to not put out DLC in the mean time.

Fred.
Business wise I agree but it's pretty clear the team behind it wasn't really feeling a DLC and felt much more comfortable going for something new. They deserve the benefit of the doubt, imo :hubie: if we gotta starve for 3-4 years I'm ok with it if it means we gonna get another dope ass game like Wukong.

I don't even believe we'll get a DLC (or something like Spider-Man Miles Morales) because by the time they are done with Zhong Kui they are either gonna do a full Wukong sequel (or prequel) or just leave that story behind :pachaha:

Finally beat this after a year, initially hated this game. Then while on holiday from work decided to try it again and started to love it. In the end fell in love with it as I got better and invested the time to figure out the bosses. Erlang is the hardest boss in any game I have ever encountered, the great sage broken shell beat in three tries.

I now see why some were advocating for game of the year. It really is a special game and I look forward to its sequel.

I beat it a month ago and I had an equally difficult time with Erlang and Great Sage Broken Shell. None of the other bosses were even close to their difficulty. As difficult as they were I still have the Malenia boss fight in Elden Ring ahead of them.

The Erlang fight was the only fight in the game I thought felt hopeless. People who beat him several patch behind had it easy. Apparently with the latest patches certain things were changed.
