Ever been to Mississippi breh? I drove past there once and i thought i was in the 1800's

I lived in Mississippi 3 years after hurricane katrina and ran into no obvious racism, obviously as a black i think all white people are racistx but they ain't come at me in no way, plus I know a lot of people that go to old miss and ms. State, most went to alcorn and jackson state tho

I remember when I was dating my wife and brought her home to Chicago. My boys were like man you crazy you dating a girl from mississippi ain't them folks country and missing teeth. I was like keep believing that mess and ingnorant crap. When them brothas finally saw my wife they were like damn she got some cousins or sisters....lol. I couldn't do anything but laugh. Dudes were like man I got to go down there if they making them like that.

Anyway, I graduated from the Univ of Memphis. I currently work as an editor for CH. 24.

Yep big boss that is how it is there. I still tell folks it is a great place to live because the black folks are down to earth and support each other. Plus it is a good place to raise kids and they can have a black experience. The bad part is there are not a lot of jobs. But homes and taxes are cheap and that is why black folks who have left come back to retire.

It is nothing to get a home on 20 acres for 120k. Or buy 80 acres for 100k and build you a house on it. With your taxes being under 900 dollars a year.

Yeah my little brother was the same way. Until he grew up and started to realize how fine them girls were. Dude was in my wedding trying to holla at all the brides maids. Man my wife had all her friends and cousins in the wedding. All I can remember was my brother saying damn I never seen so many pretty black women in one room before. my folks all live in Greenville and scooped up a 5 bdrm, 4.5 bath, 3 car garage crib for $105k along with 15 acres. if the mosquitos weren't so bad, i'd gladly move back to my birthplace...and ya know, the racists and shyt
