And for ppl saying BF isn't a twitch shooter, only difference between that and COD is vehicles and map size. The same mechanics apply, esp the last few editions
if you want to break it down like that you could call cod a twitch shooter.. but if you want to compare it to an unreal tournament or quake... both of those games are on a completly diffrent level in the twitch department.. a level that most fps heads consider the standerdSo let me get this straight. A game where you have to place your shots precisely with a m/kb in order to get the kills is a twitch FPS but a game where the generous auto aim/acceleration trumps everything regardless of weapon types/stats/etc and the only thing that matters is how fast you can press a button aka reaction(twitch) is not?
Battlefield isn't a twitch shooter...BECAUSE of the map sizes, the vehicles, it's class-based team system and various other elements at hand dog. What the fukk are you smoking? If BF is a twitch shooter, is GTA a racing game just because it has cars??
The idea that "reflex=twitch shooter" puts every single shooter EVER under twitch shooter which is dumb as hell. Positioning is still a key component over reflexes in games like CoD, BF, Ghost Recon, and even Rainbow Six. None of those are twitch shooters just because they have low TTK's. Stop this non-sense bro.
Edit: But like I said, I kinda consider CoD in it's own category.
First off you light bright navajo fakkit, stop talking tough. You are nothing. I can give a fukk who you are and who you played against, with, etc. Thats not part of this convo. We are talking normal pub play, not sweaty try hard tournys. You are wrong about COD being slow paced, team oriented shooters. Its not and even a novice FPS realizes that. So save your elitist rhetoric for someone else nerd

You clearly glossed over the part I said about shooting mechanics. Its closer to COD then any other games. What you are naming is features which is true in the fact that it differentiates from COD but the core gameplay is just about even
BF is not a twitch shooter, period. Similarities in shooting mechanics don't nullify everything else the game accomplishes to give it the sandbox/sim feel.
And everything else in the game doesn't nullify that the core mechanics of the gunplay is detected on who sees who first. Have you played Hardline? Is BF in the same realm of Halo or KZ in terms of shooting, TTK, etc?
Your wasting your time breh... dude prolly thinks halo is a twitch shooter tooI played both Hardline betas and constantly play BF4 on PC and occasionally run with coli brehs on PS4. The game is not a twitch shooter, period. IDK what Ubisoft been doing to your brain bro cause this argument you're making not logical at all.
Who sees who first=/=twitch shooter.

So if I see you first and shoot, will you have a chance to turn around or react? Oh wait you mentioning Ubisoft so yea you got nothing.
YES. I know this because I play Battlefield often and do this exact thing fairly often.
Quit while you're ahead nikka you don't know shyt.
No don't beg me to quit. We having a discussion. So you are agreeing that the core gameplay mechanics with shooting is reactionary? Not features, not perks, not map size, classes, etc. The majority of gunfights is who sees who first and presses that bumper/mouse click?
