they wasnt the first they was the best, they was made by the actual good developers, not that trash company treyarch, cod4 is the reason the cod brand is what it was, and to think they activation tried to make them stick to ww2 games, everything from movement, engine, graphics, perks, kill streaks was started here
next came WAW from treyarch which was trash, copy of mw in ww2
next came mw2, which the devs wanted to turn into a series where they wanted to work on it for years before they released a new one, but was force to put it out there anyway, and then didnt get paid for it, and it basically laid the group work for the cod games to come, ever since then aint shyt change outside of killstreaks and perks. bo1 and 2 are straight off knockoffs of the mw series and is probably the reason IW went to ea, cause they didnt want trey to use they engine cause it was going to cause people to get tired of it, they alot people is now

They good games. MW 2 is great yet They do no nothing better than BO 2 like AT ALL.
And lets be honest we are talking about MULTIPLAYER COD4 and MW2 stories are better, I grant you that.
But from a multiplayer perspective No way.

im not playing none of them, last one i took serious was mw2 and it was trash, played bo2 by my ponta house and it was trash, same ole shyt, im done with cod, i just brought bf4 yesterday and it piff, and it will be piff on my xbox one also

you trolling dude. No one would agree with that. Halo 2 is considerd the Classic. MW2 is widely considered the best C.O.D. Gears 2 as the best in the series.
