But Trump is going to put us back in chains:beli:
For the record, it wasn't due to any policies Trump enacted. .
:dead: come on breh

trump obviously doesn't give a fukk about anyone but rich white people. but to deny that this orange shythead DID free up some money and the effects of that is being felt, is intellectually dishonest. he's still a huge piece of shyt :yeshrug:

Lowering taxes doesn’t help small business owners?

Allowing businesses to deduct the cost of depreciable assets in one year versus amortizing them over several years isn’t helping small business owners?

Freeing up capital to hire more workers(which the economy has) giving more people income and capital to start their own business doesn’t help?

:russ:Y’all hate Trump so much you are actually refusing to acknowledge the upside to anything he does.

But Biden said we should be in chains by now. Not opening up businesses. Whats going on here?

Stop acting clueless to the real barriers black people face when it comes to starting a business.

Those policies have nothing to do with black people becoming more receptive to the idea of starting a business. The black community is experiencing a renaissance when it comes to the idea of ownership.

I'm not saying Trump's tax policies regarding small businesses shouldn't be applauded. I'm saying no black person wakes up thinking "Thanks to Massa Trump I will finally be able to open up a restaurant because I can finally write off the depreciation from that oven and refrigerator I'ma need:ahh:"

Baby steps breh. Baby steps

I realize that and it takes a lot to be an entrepreneur so anybody taking that leap I have tremendous amount of respect and even succeeding is more of a great accomplishment but the thing is that as a result of lack of access to capital, Black businesses in the US don't hire many employees and stay stuck in the mold of small to medium sized enterprise. Outside of the DC/MD/VA, there isn't basically the employment numbers and diversity in goods/services in Black entrepreneurship in the Northeast US (which I have experience more in this part of the country).

Outside of the realm of personal care type of services (beauty shops and barber shops) and restaurants, I don't see a heavy Black presence in other sectors but hopefully that will change in time.

No one claimed his policies have spurred an awakening...
Cost is also a barrier blacks face... and lowering business cost necessarily helps...

Reducing black unemployment provides more blacks with income to patronize black businesses...

It’s ok to hate trump(for being a Nazi) and recognize how his pro business policies have helped blacks.
