Ebony dot com and magazine
Essence dot com and magazine
Does Complex, Vlad TV and Noisey count? being that they're the main ones publishing hip hop content and all of them are white owned.

Bossip, Hip Hop Wired and Madame Noire (bedwench blog) are all owned by the same entity, I'm looking on the website though and the guy is black. Jamarlin Martin

"BB King's" Blues Club has a black man's name and face plastered all over it but guess what the actual owner Tommy Peters looks like:

"Urban" radio stations
Is this site black owned?
I know Roc-A-Fella is not black owned.

I actually used to work for somebody in midtown almost 3 years ago. This white guy who said his family owns Roc-A-Wear....couldnt believe it.

I'd say yes 100%. They profit off of majority black content and black culture. But check out the ownership and the staff....majority white.

Noisey is VICE...and they dont really hire black people like that...if at all. The majority of their staff is white with some asians sprinkled here and there.

Same with hot new hip hop and hip hop wired. If there are black editors and writers there...they are only brought out to do race related think pieces and they are usually contributors and rarely direct members of the site.
