What do y'all think about guns with rubber bullets?

I'll say this best to get out of the mindset of calling any weapon non-lethal. Go with less lethal. The possibility of death is present if you use these weapons.
As for rubber bullets, I don't see the point. If you have to pull out your gun it should only be for life threatening reasons and that alone, in that case I don't understand why you as a non-LEO would want the less lethal option, you aren't going to just go and slap cuffs on the guy or do any of the apprehention stuff and you aren't expected to.

So I guess my question is why would you want rubber bullets, are you nervous about lethal options?

if you are pulling out a gun for defense, you are aiming to kill and stop the threat ASAP, nothing else.
Better off just sticking with mace/pepper spray and a taser/stun gun

Ha I'm not a southpaw but I am partial to my left kicks. Yea did Muay Thai, Grappling, Boxing for a few years. Did a few amateur fights too and did TKD as a kid.

Yeah, I'd agree - if you're not looking to kill someone, then one of the really high-potency pepper sprays in a much better self-defense option than a fake gun.

What's going to be the difference between going to a 'Black' owned gun shop as opposed to a white one? The companies that manufacture the guns are still going to be white owned. You can't cut the devil out of getting his portion. It doesn't work that way.

So I got my sights installed at this place called Central Texas Gun Works. Black owned.

One of the people there told me about the classes going on because I asked about CHL.

The interesting thing he told me was that the owner makes it a POINT to have classes on MLK Day because he was denied a gun license before just because he was black. Glad I supported the breh today

To be honest Breh I think pulling out a gun takes you past that point. You're either going to shoot to kill someone or get murked trying. The gun is the highest level of escalation.

This site will serve you well. I will note that I bent one because someone pissed me off and I started hitting a wall with it. But if you are going to hit a human with it, it's going to do damage to them.
