Those were actually Black Platforms (because the infrastructure was black owned), right now we have Black People speaking on White Platforms (hence the censorship). The infrastructure is missing.
that's the next step. Someone needs to create the infrastructure for these black voices.
The issue is people make well intentioned attempts but lack the fore sight to make something scalable. Like they will make something called "Black Folk Tube" not understanding you pretty much will have to rely on donations which will never come because people will always see it as inferior to youtube.
At the end of the day we are in a capitalistic Market, We should be trying to compete with everyone not just make a black space to do something in. We often say 'lets make a black facebook' and not 'lets make a facebook competitor'.
