Yep. Spider-Man No Way Home and Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness were accurate plot leaks on Reddit. They changed a few things with reshoots, but not much.

I really wish people would stop it with this stupid comparison. How long did they wait after reeves death to recast him? How long did they wait after ledgers death to recast the Joker? When an actor dies and has done a role well, they wait out of respect for his or her legacy. Chadwick died just 2 years ago. They're not pretending he doesn't exist anymore and never did. In universe he dies, but black panther is a character that has been occupied by different people. Its a title, not something tied to one person.

You'll get your male black panther, its just not going to be right away. Unless people actually *gasp* like the female black panther and she signs on for more roles while the child actor that plays his son grows.

Killing off or retiring a character that a dead actor worked hard to portray themselves as is not “paying respect”. A actor shouldn’t even be specifically tied to a fictional character with over half a decade worth of history.

Chadwick’s own family even said that he would of been ok with a immediate recast because he knew how important the character was to Black folks.
