Very emotional watching this but I notice a common theme that people hardly talk about which is after becoming aware or conscious there is a bit of depression and self reliance that you tend to develop. As black people too often people associate black pride and speaking out on injustice as militant, but why? You stick out your neck to speak out or fight and find yourself and a few rallying for things that will benefit all black people if accomplished. Just like the Black Panther soon found out, the government wanted no parts of it and would kill you out of existence. So then what, your left alone, which is why I think Huey spiraled downward and why many other black leaders moved to Africa, because there is no win in.

This documentary is amazing. The Panther Party were bigger than I thought and had a strong affliations with major foreign leaders. Their influence were world wide.
