We gotta be fair, that's like a mixed child (White/Black) hating their Black side. I could understand if this blood came from rape. However, when it's consensual you gotta recognize it. So, you have to say you're both. As much as it sucks, you have to be honest. You can still be down with the struggle and be honest about who you are. If the parent is racist she's racist. It's unfortunate and if it was me I'd distance myself. I'm fully African, so I can't give my emphasis on that.

I'm saying 2 things only.

#1 A black person looks black. The "black" part is the important part of "black person". This means they have African features and look like people of African decent.

#2 if you look white like Keanu Reeves. Derrick Jeter, etc,. Meaning you are of a mixed heritage in many situations, then are you black mentality. Do you have the mentality of the average black person. Do your views and values reflect that of the black collective. Are you proud to be black.

Jeter and Keanu don't look black and don't have the black collective mentality. 1 identifies as white and 1 identifies as biracial. Neither look black or have strong black pride/ black mentality.

Both of these are important when we talking about black people. I'm not deciding anything, I'm just trying to remind people that black people are not that difficult to spot.

Like I said before. Black people are actually "black". Black physically. Black mentally.

Obama is not a biracial. Yes, he has mixed parents. Obama looks black physically, has African features. Obama is black mentally, he speaks about his black pride and how he indentifies as a black man. He is clearly black.

Obama never needed convincing and many who are mixed race parentage don't need convincing, they are black people. Blake Gifften has some African features but can pass for white, I believe he indentifies as biracial so he clearly isn't black. Tony Parker has black pride and looks physically like a black man, he identifies as a black man and not biracial.

What does Blake identify as? What does he mark on his paperwork or census?
